Q: Do I need to have a patch test before booking a hair colour appointment?

If this is your first hair colour appointment with us. you must visit the salon at least 48 hours before your appointment in order for us to complete a patch test. A patch test is required for any on scalp colour treatment. Your treatment can not be carried out without an up to date patch test.

Q: Are you available to book for Wedding/Bridal party hair?

Yes, we offer limited appointments for our popular wedding/bridal party hair & makeup through our sister company - Number one bridal . You can also contact us to find out more

Q: What hair treatments are available in the salon?

We offer a wide range of services at Salon One - from colouring to cutting and styling. Some of our most popular services include Balayage/Ombre, highlights, wedding/bridal hair and creative cutting, lived in colour and hair extensions. You can check out all of our services here

Q: How much notice do I need to give if cancelling or rescheduling?

We have a 48 hour cancellation policy, please let us know if you need to move or cancel your appointment within the 48 hours of your booking. Deposits are unfortunately non refundable but appointments can be moved if contacted within the allotted cancellation period. We understand that running late happens. Please let us know at your earliest convenience if you run late. We have a 10 min grace period if you are later than the time discussed we will unfortunately not be able to take your appointment and you will lose your deposit. To book an extension appointment 50% of the total cost of the appointment will be due on the day of booking. This will act as your deposit. Deposit for extensions are non refundable.

Laura Cooper

Laura - salon owner and senior stylist with over 15 years experience, Wella and L’Oréal trained, has a teacher training award, qualified in tape in extensions, weave extensions and keratin bonds.

Laura has worked with award winning bridal hair and makeup agencies as a freelance hairdresser and makeup artist,working for brands including, Dior and Estée Lauder. She enjoys creating new styles and has a passion for hair extensions and hair up.
